In movies American actors can do Australian, Scottish, Spanish, British, etc… accents very well. Can people from other countries imitate American accents as well as we can others?
American actors putting on different accents only sound good to American viewers. Anyone from the country they’re actually mimicking thinks they sound shite.
An American accents easy to do (well at least the standard one) as there isn’t anything to it, it’s all quite monotone.

i see allot of european (english,spanish etc.) actors/actress filmography and some of them star in movies in there own country and then i see them appear in american films..
do they go to usa and audition for the movies there?? or is there audition for american films in europe??
If they’re already established actors in their own countries, chances are they were specifically chosen for their roles in American films by either the directors or casting directors. Lots of filmmakers already have actors in mind when they’re preparing to make their movies. Sometimes the foreign actors are friends and other times they’re people who just happened to catch the director’s eye when he/she was watching some of their other work. Chances are any auditions would have been formalities, since the actors were already assured the parts in the US movies.
