College Kids…Best Cruise Line?
Hey Everyone. I’m looking for a good cruise line to take with a bunch of my college-aged friends. I’m turning 21 in May and I’d really like to go on a cruise. I heard good things about Norweigan Cruise line but boyfriend heard it was a much older crowd and suggested Carnival…. but we just read a review online for Carnival and it said that a lot of people on low-budgets who only speak Spanish take this cruise line often. The review also said that everything is repeated all directions in Spanish. Now, I am by NO MEANS racist but I’d really appreciate a different type of crowd. We also don’t want it to be a cruise where there are a lot of children. We will be taking the cruise in early June so most kids will still be in school and we do not want a cruise line with all elderly people. Any happy mediums people can suggest would be great. Thanks in advance and I hope I didn’t offend anyone as that is truly not my intention!!
The carnival Victory that leaves San Juan do tend to have a Spanish crowd since it is leaving their port. Nevertheless, you can try another cruise line or you can try the leg that leaves Barbados instead of San Juan.
I find that there are all ages on a cruise but the longer the days the older the people since the older people would have more time on their hands. You should not let that stop you from enjoying a good cruise. Go and do what you have to do and don’t look at any one.
