Spanish 1 help please, anyone?
Today my Spanish 1 class took a very simple quiz. It was telling time in Spanish. I was on a roll having everything correct. The teacher made a mistake when looking at the clock. She thought that the hour hand on the 6 and the minute hand on the 10 meant that it was 6:50, and I had to explain to her that it was only 5:50 because the hour hand was closer to the 6, and if it were 6:50 the hour hand would be closer to the 7. She realised that she made a mistake, and accepted my answer as correct. That’s not where I messed up since she realised my answer was correct. It was at the ending of the quiz where it asked how do you ask for the time in Spanish. I wrote ¿Que es hora? with the accent instead of ¿Que hora es? Such a silly mistake, now I feel like my common sense grade is a 90/100. Any advice how to avoid making minor mistakes like that so I can perfect every future quiz?

for instance
3:47= las 4 menos 13
3:52= las 4 menos 8
but when you have
3:08= las 3 y 8
3:29= las 3 y 29
don’t forget
cuarto= quarter (3:15= 3 y cuarto…. 3:45= 4 menos cuarto)
media= half (las tres y media)
