My cousin used to listen to “Spanish Reggae”. What are the name of bands that play this type of music?
My cousin started to listen to this music when she got married – he’s Portuguese and always had it on, and broke the knob off the radio until she gave the music a chance; and she loved it (and got a new radio out of it).
I was wondering what bands play this type of music, if that’s the actual term for it.
I have asked my cousin – and her husband – numerous times for the names of some of the bands, but unfortunately they are both equally scatterbrained and always forget.
So any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.
Six years ago I downloaded a show from a reggae band from Uruguay. I listed their name as Kongo Bongo on the disc but the sheet that went with it that shows the band member’s names and track titles just says Congo. So their name is one or the other. I’d peg them as hard to get since I’ve seen nothing from them since (how often do you pick up something from Uruguay anyway?) even if they’re still around.
