Is my future really over?!?!?!? please need urgent advice..and take time to read the whole long story please.?
I am a sophmore now and in school.. freshman year i had three different spanish teachers throughout the year. i was just barelyy passing by. during finals my father had gotten sick and apparently had an impact on me. the teachers said that it would be best to postpone the test. well they where not helpfull at all..they wouldnt return phone calls or emails and the begining of school came. yet again a new spanish teacher was there. the principal caught up with the records and talked to the new teacher well that new teacher gave me a final that he made and i had only gotten half right and was moved back to spanish 1 the worst thing was he said that i couldnt study i should know it!?!?!? it was nothing that i had learned from the previous teachers at all
1.Should i talk to the principal about getting the test that my classmates took??
2.Is my future for college ruined because of the failing grade on my report card.
3.Extra critisism..
Take Spanish I again. It will not affect college much unless you fail it twice; then they might wonder….
Have your parents request that an explanation of the extenuating circumstances be included in your permanent record.
I think this new Spanish teacher really does understand that studying might boost your short-term memory, but it does not mean that you know the subject. He sounds tough, but good. You will probably learn a lot more this way, and that is the important thing–knowing the language. Not just squeaking by one test.
